Put simply, Raul Perez's main goal is to help clients find the place that feels like home. His enthusiasm, sense of humor and true passion for his work make him uniquely attuned to the needs of buyers and sellers…and his philosophy makes him successful in fulfilling their needs. As Raul says, a good broker should:

a) Know the client, what his/her needs, goals and wants are. "A broker must clearly identify the end goal in order to establish realistic plans and processes that will lead to client satisfaction."

b) Know the market. "A broker's job is to provide expertise to his/her customers and make the appropriate match for the needs of both the buyer and seller."

c) Know when the match is right. Bring to the table a sense of humor and fun, combined with a keen perspective, in-depth knowledge and expertise, the right timing, dedication and professionalism. "When all of these qualities are aligned in the broker, then he or she can secure the best match for any client and make it happen!"

A licensed real estate agent and broker who also holds a certificate in Real Estate Property Management from New York University, Raul has long been "a serious student" of real estate. He transitioned into the field after a successful career in fashion design and merchandising, realizing that real estate can be a daunting field and process to understand. That's why Raul's mission is to take complex transactions and make them simple and understandable for the client, while still conveying all the nuances of the toughest yet most exciting market in the world. "I want to give customers the information necessary to make purposeful decisions that meet their unique budget and goals without all the jargon or tech talk," says Raul, who strives to "demystify" the market and make clients feel empowered in their transaction.

Fluent in Spanish (his native language), English and Portuguese, Raul's diverse background and experiences has led him to live in South America, Europe and NYC, and to travel the world extensively. Yet he always loves coming home. A highly experienced manager and CEO of his own international design firms in Chile, Brazil and the U.S., and a successful Manhattan real estate broker, he possesses many skills that truly set him apart and arm him well for the honorable job of helping buyers, sellers and renters realize their real estate dreams. Outside of work, Raul's passions include travel and fitness. He resides on the Upper East Side and is continually fascinated by the great cosmopolitan gem that is New York.
